THE FORES PROJECT
The Fores Project actively supports emerging artists by giving them time and space to realise projects in London and across the UK.
The Fores Project is a four week programme inviting emerging artists to London, giving them space and time in order to further their practice and an opportunity to immerse and inspire themselves in the culture and history of the city.
For the duration of the programme artists will be given direct access to a new purpose built studio, free travel in London (Zones 1-2), flights from their country of residence and accommodation a short walk from the studio. Participants will need to ensure you have the correct travel documentation and visa requirements for your stay and will need to cover their own food costs.
The Fores Project will support your practice during your time in London, there will also be the opportunity to connect with European based collectors via studio visits and you will have the opportunity to exhibit your works in a final show, film screening or performance as you see fit.
The studio is located via private entrance in a gated complex, it is fully ventilated and wheelchair accessible with 24hr security. It is located in North Kensington, Zone 2 of the London Underground and a short walk away from the shops and cafes of Notting Hill Gate and Kensal Rise.
The Fores Project is a collector lead initiative with the support form gallerists and curators.
